About Diana:

WHAT INSPIRES ME – I find today’s “modern” look VERY inspirational.  The melding of something new, antique, mirrored, glossy, textured, natural, industrial, geometric, disproportion and even a little obscure all set off by a pops of color!  Being a creative person I find beauty in so many styles that it can make my head spin – With the modern look, as long as you find the common denominator of color or scale, you really can put all these elements together and end up with a beautifully designed space that is fresh and completely geared for today’s modern living.

MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHY –Be realistic & practical.  It’s not a showhouse; it is real life and people demand their homes live like they do.  During my prior evolution as a Kitchen & Bathroom Designer, my primary focus was designing shared spaces for multi-generational families with varied uses.  My approach would be to spend the little extra time really getting to know all family members personally!  By incorporating lots of storage and convenience items like lowering a counter for growing children or a place to tuck the family pet bowl away; you end up with an overall space that encourages time spent together.

WHY I LIKE HOME STAGING – The idea of illustrating, in life size scale, an entire home transformed in a day into an environment where people can walk in & instantly imagine growing their families tickles me beyond words!  Staging is really just and extension of my passion for all things interior design only on a timer!

THE OTHER SIDE OF ME – I love cooking for my family, live music, the arts, sports and ALL things second hand.  Most of my spare time is spent scouring garage & estate sales, auctions and thrift stores for that “ugly duckling” and imagining bringing that item back to life to live on another day.  My life truly is all about making it more beautiful, comfortable & reusable.
